Jocelyn's story

Jocelyn is 44 years old and married with four children. She lives in a simple dwelling in Baybay, Leyte where she runs her food-selling business to get an income. Thus, she sells barbecue. Jocelyn has been in this livelihood for many years.
Now she asks for a loan of PHP 5,000 through Kiva’s field partner CEVI, (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines which she will use for additional capital to buy food like meat, frozen foods, and seasonings.

Jocelyn dreams of expanding her business in the future and becoming more productive.
