San Miguel Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, baked goods, canned goods, and other products to sell.

San Miguel Group's story

The San Miguel group was formed by friends and neighbors from the city of Curuguaty who set themselves the goal of being able to grow, not only economically but also as people so they can also get training and help their families.

Celsa is the president of the communal bank. She's married and has four children. She and her husband look for ways to be able to give their children better living conditions so in the future they can be good people and have a better quality of life than what she and her husband were able to have.

She works in sales. She has a small grocery store where she works every day from an early hour, and she and her husband are constantly looking for ways to keep on growing so they never lack for anything.

She's requesting this loan to buy a variety of products to sell in her grocery store, such as vegetables, baked goods, canned goods, and others.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo wasn't possible because of social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
