Lisette's story

I grew up in urban Reading, PA. I sell affordable luxury clothing, shoes, and accessories for women studied Business management at my local community college and worked in Network Marketing over the years. I have worked for a custom apparel company and have made friends with successful boutique owners thanks to social media. Through my studies, OTJ training, and networking, I came to the conclusion I would much rather run my own business than build someone else's dream. Having been raised by a single mother, I have experienced times where quality clothing was not affordable. I have seen my mother go from job to job to support my siblings and me. My experience has made me the hardworking mother and entrepreneur I am today. Thanks to my perseverance I have managed to do much more than my community has taught me. I am grateful to have the opportunity to be the first small business owner in my family and set a great example of work ethic and determination for my child. I want to be the big sister in business to all of the disadvantaged women in my community. I would like to help provide business opportunities and education to other aspiring entrepreneurs and single mothers.
