Juventud Sm Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables.

Juventud Sm Group's story

Fifteen years ago Palmira started to work selling cookies as her family was low income. She only had her mother as her father abandoned them when she was five. As the eldest sister of three children she had to help her mother with the family expenses, selling all day.

With the passing of the years she came to form her own family and had three children. Unfortunately her husband has an accident and lost a hand. So Palmira had to shoulder all the family expenses. She started a business selling vegetables itinerantly in various markets.

She is requesting the loan so she can open a store selling vegetables at her house and buy vegetables in greater quantity so she can generate more income and support her children to become professionals.

There are only three people in the photo in order to maintain physical distancing. On the left wearing a black sweater is Palmira the president. In the middle with a bag is Darcy the treasurer. And to the right in the dark blue sweater is Paola the secretary.
