A loan helped to do maintenance on the taxi, to buy tires and to pay for some basic servicing.

Jessica Andrea's story

Jessica Andrea and her family live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the April 16, 2016 earthquake and now by Covid-19. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Jessica Andrea and her husband are the owners of a taxi, in which her husband works 8 hours a day, carrying out transportation jobs within and outside of the city.

The social isolation at first made it so that Jessica Andrea could not work, for fear of contagion and for various restrictions that kept her from the taxi work, but currently she is dealing with the bio-security protocols.

This loan is for maintenance on the taxi, to buy tires, and to pay for some basic servicing. Jessica Andrea's dream is to have a new taxi, and that her family has good health.
