Alisson Sofia's story

Alisson Sofia is 24 years old. She is in a common law relationship and has a 5 year old son, who is a kindergarten student, and she is also 8 months pregnant. Her partner sells vegetables. They live in the Colon parish of the Portoviejo region where the people work in agriculture and the cuisine is greatly varied and valued, such as chicken soup, chicken dishes and unequaled plantain roasted in brick ovens.
Alisson Sofia, together with her partner, works selling vegetables on a tricycle. They drive around selling potatoes, carrots, cabbage, cilantro, peppers, yucca, onions, etc. They work from Monday to Saturday, some 6 hours a day. Currently Alisson is only selling the vegetables from her home due to the stage of her pregnancy.
At the beginning, the social distancing left her without work due to fear of the virus as various restrictions impeded her from going out to sell but now she is following the bio safety protocols.
This loan is to buy broccoli, onions, potatoes, cauliflower, white onions and to do maintenance on the tricycle.
Her dream is that her family will not get sick and that her business will continue growing.
