01_Dayamada Group's story

This banc villageois, which was created in September 2012, is home to this group of eight brave women who live in the same village and share strong values of friendship, kinship and solidarity. They have successfully repaid several loans and their main activities are agriculture and trade.

Nogaye, 46 years old, is the representative, standing on the left of the photo with her hand raised. She is married and has nine children, one of whom is a boy, and all of them go to school. She runs a sheep fattening business, buying from the weekly markets and working from home in her village. She also sells fish products and has over 15 years' experience in this field.

She will buy two lambs and bags of feed to fatten them. She manages to sell her products without difficulty and makes a good profit. Her profits will allow her to provide for her needs, to build up her savings, and to help her husband with family expenses.
