Danjuma's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to access quality farm inputs and services.

Danjuma's story

Danjuma, who is 51 years of age and married with two children lives in a rural town in Kano, Nigeria. He lives in a small community where maize farming is the major occupation and means of livelihood. Due to a lack of access to quality seeds, it has become difficult for farmers to achieve the high yields needed to make a good income.

Danjuma is requesting a loan to buy high-quality seeds, fertilizers, and other essential inputs for his maize farming operations. Danjuma wants to double last year's yield so that he can attract more customers thereby increasing his revenue.

At the end of the season, Danjuma plans to use the profits he earns from his harvest to pay his children's school fees and enhance their standard of living. Danjuma looks forward to living in an improved house and to many more abundant harvests.
