Las Marias Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy flour, eggs, lard, sweets, sugar, and other products.

Las Marias Group's story

Las Marias Group is in its first cycle within the women's committee program. All of its members are working and helping each other to get ahead. They are also in the poverty elimination program and fighting to improve themselves.

María is the president of this group. She makes pastries and also works as a domestic worker. She lives with her husband and children. Her plan for the future is to own her own retail space and diversify her business. She considers herself a fighter, someone who makes sacrifices for her loved ones in order to give them what she wasn't able to have.

She is requesting this loan to buy ingredients to make her products: flour, eggs, lard, sweets, sugar, and other products to keep baking.

Note: the child in the photo is the son of one of the borrowers in this group.
