Maristas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy an electric saw and materials to make cleaning products.

Maristas Group's story

The group called Maristas is in their 1st loan cycle of the Women's Committee program. They were able to become a group thanks to one of the members of the group. They are participating in the Poverty Elimination program.

Sonia is one of them. She is married and the mother of a family. She earns her living selling pork. She has a sales space at her house and also sells cleaning products that she makes herself. Sonia is very loved in her neighborhood. What she likes the most is helping those most in need.

She is requesting this loan to buy an electric saw to use in her sales of pork and raw materials to make her cleaning products.

Note: There is only one person in the photo but it is a group loan. A group photo is not possible without a gathering of people, prohibited because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
