A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during COVID-19.

Asnah's story

Good day, lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Asnah. She is thirty-seven years old and married with one son and one daughter. Asnah runs a business of selling food and her husband is a laborer. One of her children is still in school. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of a school from home that uses an online system. This has made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 2,200,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during COVID-19. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Asnah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children, improves their living conditions, and creates a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.

Note: The girl in the photo is Asnah's daughter.
