A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during COVID-19.

Animah's story

Good day, lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Animah. She is forty-six years old and married with one son and two daughters. Animah runs a business of a food stall and her husband runs a business of selling vegetables. One of her children is still in school. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their family was the implementation of a school from home that uses an online system. This has made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 3,700,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during COVID-19. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Animah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children, improves living conditions, and creates a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.
