Grupo Unido Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy greens, meat, condiments, vegetables, and other products.

Grupo Unido Group's story

This committee is called Grupo Unido. They are in their sixth cycle of the Women’s Committee Program where they all fight for a better quality of life for their families. It is made up of 25 women. They are a part of the poverty elimination program with the purpose of being able to offer better living conditions to their loved ones so they don't suffer any kind of hardship.

One of them is Hipolita. She sells food through which she generates the means to help support her home and family. Hipolita defines herself as a fighter who looks for a way to be able to offer her loved ones all she couldn't have and prevent them from going through any type of hardship. She is happy for the opportunity she receives of being able to be a part of the group, which will be very helpful for training and getting ahead.

She is asking for this loan to buy raw materials to offer her meals, such as greens, meat, condiments, vegetables, and other products so she can continue with her work as she has been doing.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent crowding of people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
