Faidala Zuleima's story

Faidala Zuleima, age 22, is single. She does not have children at present and lives with her parents. They live in the city of Calceta. The principal sources of income are agriculture, livestock, commerce, and making crafts from 'mocora' straw and cotton, and a variety of sweets made of eggs and dairy.

To support household expenses and her own expenses, Faidala Zuleima works making desserts such as personalized cakes, gelatin molds, artisanal sweets such as huevos moyos, alfajores, cocadas, rompopes, etc. as requested by her customers. She works per orders. She sells on the internet, WhatsApp, and in her house where her clients come. She delivers to homes. Social isolation at first left her without work, due to fear of contagion and various restrictions that kept her from going out to sell. Now she is working with bio-security protocols.

This loan is to buy raw materials to make sweets.
