A loan helped to introduce new products into his store.

Cleophas's story

Cleophas is a motivated Rwandan entrepreneur. He runs a grocery store business in Kirehe, near the refugee camp. Cleophas is married with five children. He also owns a bean and corn agricultural business that he harvests. Cleophas provides much needed support to his family.

Cleophas started his business in 2013. His business has improved and he has even offered employment to people from his community. However, the pandemic caused his business to slow down due to government restrictions.

Cleophas chose to work with AEC and participate in its training program to improve his business again. He is requesting a loan of 1,500,000 RWF to increase his stock and introduce new types of quality products into his grocery store. This will increase his sales and help him to keep providing for his family continuously.
