Suhaenah's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Suhaenah. She is 60 years old and married, with one son. Suhaenah runs a business of selling household equipment and her husband is a laborer. Her son is still in school. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This has made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

Suhaenah has applied for a loan of 3,000,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Suhaenah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her child and to improve their living conditions and create a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.

Note: The boy in the photo is Suhaenah’s son.
