Ophelia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, red oil, charcoal, vita, iron soap and other items to sell.

Ophelia's story

This is 40-year-old Ophelia, from Liberia. She is a married mother of four children, and they live at home. Ophelia attended school up to fourth grade.

She runs a business selling rice, red oil, charcoal, vita, iron soap and other items. She has had this business for six years and has no problems with her business. She started the business with her own savings, and her aunty taught her how to sell. She likes her business because it helps her a lot.

To maintain her business, Ophelia requested a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva Field Partner to buy more rice, red oil, charcoal, vita, iron soap and other items to sell to her good clients.

Her dreams for the future are to build her house and improve her business. Ophelia wishes to say thanks.
