01_Ndemene Group's story

This Banc Villageois was launched in the area in December 2009. It includes this group of five brave women who live in the same village and get along well as kin and neighbors. They run commercial activities.

Mrs. Bamby is the group's representative. In the photo, she is standing on the right with a hand raised. She is 55 years old and married with nine children, four of whom are boys. Eight of her children are school educated.

Bamby sells food products. She buys merchandise from wholesalers in the city and sells the goods in her village out of her home-based shop. She has a good experience of over 20 years in this commercial activity.

She plans to buy sacks of rice, sacks of sugar, jugs of oil and other staples to stock up. She is the only one with a large store in the village, which makes her business successful.

Her profits help her to manage her household, to pay for her sons' tuition and to bolster her savings.
