Victoria's story

I am the owner and operator of Aunt Vickie’s Pies. I bring several years of experience in baking pies for the holidays and special events. I also bring over 20 years of experience in customer service. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Communication from Ohio State University. I worked in the banking industry for 30 years. My various jobs have been in the fields of management, project management, process improvement, internal auditing, quality assurance and IT security risk. I was also named one of the Top 12 Lady Bosses in Columbus Ohio in 2018 in the 614 NOW newsletter. I have also been a dedicated volunteer at our church for the past 24 years. I have been baking for various events for the past few years with more recent opportunities in serving the public. I have a passion for this business based on my experiences over the years observing the joy of those that are satisfied with the quality of my product. I have also been motivated by my observations of close relatives and friends that have dietary restrictions that would like to partake of my pies but can not. This is the reason Aunt Vickie’s Pies offers gluten-free pies and low-calorie pies that are made with substitute sweeteners. I chose this business venture based on encouragement from friends over the years. I was influenced by my relatives as well as myself that suffer from diabetes with limited willpower in consuming sweets that adversely affected our condition. Since this business has been in existence for the past 9 years, it's grown considerably and has the potential to increase its sales based on previous customer satisfaction and the need for diabetics to have the opportunity to eat desserts that won't hurt them.
