Tuzamurane Tcb Group's story

Claudine is 35 years old, a mother of three children aged between 10 months and 15 years. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past four years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

She is the leader of the group called "Tuzamurane Tcb", which means “Let's develop each other” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Claudine will use her portion of the loan to buy more beans and maize to sell within her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to set aside some savings and also be able to provide medical insurance to her family.

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

"Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
