Aissatou's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fruit (dried hibiscus and baobab fruit).

Aissatou's story

Aissatou is 49 years old. She lives with her husband and five children, four of whom are in school.

Aissatou works selling local fruit such as dried hibiscus and baobab fruit which are used to make fruit juices. In her location, packets of hibiscus and baobab fruit are displayed on a table. Her product is sold by the potful or by bag for prices between 100 and 600 XOF.

Her business is doing well and is profitable. Aissatou is requesting a loan of 300,000 XOF to strengthen her business. With her profits, she and her husband manage the family's expenses, including meals and the children's school fees. Her biggest dream is to be a big economic operator in her business sector.
