Twivanemubukene A Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy wholesale rice.

Twivanemubukene A Tcb Group's story

Vestine is a 35-year-old mother of two children between the ages of 6 and 13 years old. Her husband is a farmer and for the past eight years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

She is the leader of the group TWIVANEMUBUKENE A TCB, which means “lets leave poverty” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Vestine will use her portion of the loan to buy wholesale rice and resell it within her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to set aside some savings and expand her business.

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
