Imbaraga Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more mobile money.

Imbaraga Cb Group's story

Marie Claire is a 36-year-old mother of one child aged 13 years old. Her husband is a civil servant and for the past nine years she has owned a mobile money shop.

She is the leader of the group, Imbaraga Cb, which means “strength” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Marie Claire will use her portion of the loan to buy more mobile money to sell within her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to set aside some savings and expand her business.

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
