Abadasigana Acb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more charcoal.

Abadasigana Acb Group's story

Jacquline is a 40-year-old mother of eight children between the ages of 5 and 20 years old. Her husband is a businessman, and for the past thirteen years she has been selling charcoal.

She is the leader of the group Abadasigana Acb, which means “trusted people” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses. Jacquline will use her portion of the loan to buy more charcoal to sell within her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to set aside some savings and expand her business. She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
