Kijito Kubwa Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 4 bales of secondhand clothing to strengthen her initial capital.

Kijito Kubwa Group's story

Mme Bertile is a client of MFI Hekima and the president of the village group "Kijito Kubwa." She is 30 years old, married and the mother of six children, two of whom attend school. Her spouse drives a motorcycle.

Bertile sells secondhand clothing. She launched this business in 2010 using start-up funds she received from her husband. She later became involved with the Hekima program to support her business, which has since made steady progress.

With this new loan, Bertile will buy four bales of secondhand clothing, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge facing her business is linked to a lack of customers.

Bertile would like for her children to pursue their studies. She also wants to develop her business. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to non-bankable business owners during the COVID-19 global crisis.

To comply with social distancing measures, only the group leader appears in the photo.
