Abanyamurava Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy plantains, avocados, Irish potatoes and oranges with her portion of the loan.

Abanyamurava Tcb Group's story

Marthe is a 42-year-old mother of four children aged between 13 and 20 years old. Her husband is a businessman, and for the past two years, she has owned a food stall.

She is the leader of the Abanyamurava Tcb, which means “brave people” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Marthe will use her portion of the loan to buy plantains, avocados, Irish potatoes and oranges to sell within her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to provide for the family and also expand her business

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

(Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.)
