Alberto Rafael's story

Alberto is a 62-year-old small entrepreneur who resides with his family in the city of Cartagena. He has been operating a drugstore for approximately 24 years. Alberto started this business because he needed to generate income to support his family and provide for his children’s education. He did not have a stable job, but he had experience from working other positions. His sister provided him with a loan to start his business. In the future, he wants to have his own location where he can expand his business and set up a central office.

Alberto is currently applying for his first Kiva loan from Fundación Santo Domingo so that he can restart his business post COVID-19. He will invest the funds in the purchase of medicines (such as acetaminophen), surgical masks, facemasks, gloves, elixirs, and other products. Please support his business so that he can be successful.
