Agricultores En Desarrollo De Wali Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizers, manure, fungicides and pesticides, and to pay rent on her land.

Agricultores En Desarrollo De Wali Group's story

Elsa is 38 years old and the mother of four children. She works in agriculture, growing corn and beans. She lives with her partner who is also a farmer.

Elsa says she previously worked making and selling tortillas and ground coffee. She currently has been working in agriculture for eight years. She learned this trade from her husband. She is now grateful that despite being by his side, she has become an independent woman.

She seeks a loan from Fundenuse, with Kiva funds, to buy the agricultural supplies she needs to grow corn and beans. She will also pay rent on her farmland. Elsa's goal is to make improvements to her home. In the future she wants to reactive her business selling ground coffee and tortillas.

Elsa belongs to the Agricultores en Desarrollo de Wali solidarity group. The other members work in similar jobs.
