Tuzamurane Cb Group's story

Shakila is a 33-year-old mother of three children who are 3 and 8 years old. Her husband is a construction worker, and for the past ten years, she has owned a restaurant.

She is the leader of the group called Tuzamurane Cb, which in English means “let's develop each other.” Group members, who will share in this loan, sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Shakila will use her portion of the loan to buy more meat, cooking oil, carrots and rice to sell in her restaurant and meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to increase her savings and also expand her business. Shakila is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members. Shakila was photographed as the group representative.
