A loan helped to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around her house.

Vanny's story

Vanny, age 45, is married and has two children who are attending school. She lives with her family in the area of Angkor Borei District, Takeo Province. She earns a living by tailoring. Her husband helps earn more additional income by working as an electrician and works very hard with the task. In this way, she can earn approximately USD 5 per day, which she must use to buy daily food, clothes, medicine, and other necessary things.

Because of a shortage in her finances, she has applied for a loan of USD 1,000 to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around her house. With this loan support, she can pay for the ground filling that will provide her family members with a good environment and fresh air, protecting them from illness and creating good living conditions.

In the future, she aims to renovate her old house and push her children to continue studying at university. She believes that through her hard work and perseverance she will be able to attain a better standard of living some day.
