Mahabat's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her herd and sell more organic milk.

Mahabat's story

Mahabat says hello from Talas. She is thankful for Kiva sponsors for the financial support given to her to increase the size of her cattle herd. She will be grateful if she is given another loan, and she promises to pay it back conscientiously. She is asking for a loan in the amount of 150,000 somoni (KGS). This will be used to purchase more cows to fatten and resell, and to sell organic milk. Elmira is a hardworking, married 45 year-old woman with a grown son. She practices agriculture and cattle rearing as her primary economic activity. She started this business in 2000 with the goal of increasing her family's income. Mahabat is determined to expand her business and to save up to buy more livestock.
