Lydia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more iron soap to sell.

Lydia's story

Lydia is 43 years old; she lives with her partner along with 3 children. All of her children are currently in school and live at home. Lydia's partner works as a driver to earn extra income. She deals in a business selling iron soap. For the past 9 years, she has been managing her sales. She started the business with her own savings and her sister taught her how to sell. She faces no problem with her business. She says she enjoys her business because sales are profitable.

To continue selling, Lydia applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva Field Partner. With the anticipated profit she will buy more iron soap to sell in order to generate greater profits. Her dreams for the future are to build a house and continue her children's education. She wishes to say thanks.
