Sope S Babacar Sy Group's story

The president of the group Sope S Babacar Sy is called Mme Aminata, and she is in the photo. She is not educated. She is 28 years old, married, and the mother of three children aged 3 to 7. Only the oldest is in school. Her husband is a teacher.

This loan is destined for all the group members, who are four women. For Mme Aminata, she made recourse to a microfinance institution to increase her funds and to satisfy her clientele. She has been active in sheep raising for more than five years. She stocks up at the weekly markets in her area. She sells her merchandise in the large markets. The revenue drawn from her business permits her to help her husband with the familial expenses, such as her oldest child's school fees, health, food etc.

Mme Aminata dreams of becoming a great animal raiser. She enjoys this business a lot because she is financially independent. She is also active in vegetable selling as a secondary business. Her obstacle is the theft of beasts caused by insecurity.
