Channy's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy items such as wood for making chopping boards to sell at the market.

Channy's story

Channy is the woman who appears in this photo, and she is 40 years old. She is living in her own house in Prey Veng Province of Cambodia.

She is working as a farmer of the rice crop. She could earn money, by calculation of around $5, per day. Channy is a mother and wife who always strives for the best for her family.

She and her husband have a plan to earn more profits by starting a new business selling and making chopping boards to sell at the market. However, she does not have enough money to purchase and support her items for making her business. She would like to apply for a Kiva loan with amount of $2,500 to provide what she needs.

Channy believes in her plan to be able to grow by using this fund; she hopes all lenders give her the opportunity of running a new business.
