Hello, Kiva community! Mercy, a 31-year-old mom of 2 school-going children, is a borrower who thanks Kiva lenders for the good job they are doing transforming lives around the globe. She is a hard-working farmer from a remote village in the Litein area of Kenya. Thanks to her daily efforts, she has managed to give her children a good start by providing them with a good-quality education.

Mercy has practiced dairy, crop and tea crop farming for many years to support her children, who are in school. Her success has been fuelled by an enduring desire to achieve and to give her family a solid reputation,
