Francois Xavier's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more inventory for his shop.

Francois Xavier's story

Francois Xavier is a hardworking Rwandan entrepreneur and a caring son to his parents. He started a bar & restaurant in 2019 but due to the pandemic in 2020, he was not making any sales so he decided to change the restaurant into a cattle butcher shop.

This idea to change the business not only helped him raise sales but also reduced rent costs where he only needed half of the place for the butchery business. He buys cows and fish locally, prepares them to sell the meat locally, and sells it to local markets and restaurants in Karongi District. He has four employees that help him run the business daily.

A loan to Francois Xavier will help him purchase more inventory where he has signed a one-year renewable contract of supplying 300kg of minced meat, 10 pigs, and 3 cows per week. This will help him increase his profits and he plans to hire two more staff to deliver the meat to the clients.
