Tet's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farming supplies such as cassava seeds, fertilizers and other needs to use in her farm.

Tet's story

Tet, 60 years old, lives with her dependent husband at Siem Reap province, Cambodia. She has worked as a farmer of rice plants since the year 1979. By calculating her salary, she usually can earn around $5 US dollars per day, and with this amount, she needs to support her family with foods and other necessary needs.

In the crisis of COVID-19 pandemic, people, including Tet, are counted as the victim, while their income is dramatically decreased or else no income is generated. Shops, schools, and also garment factories are closed. And people are ordered to stay home or just work from home.

Regarding this nationwide crisis, she would like to ask for a favor from Kiva to lend her about 4,000,000 KHR, so she can use this amount of money to buy farming supplies such as cassava seeds, fertilizers and other needs to use in her farm.
