La Amistad Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, meat, bread products, fruit, and other additional products.

La Amistad Group's story

The group called "La Amistad [Friendship]" is in its seventh cycle of the women's group program, where almost all of the women are working and are helping each other get ahead. They are in the poverty elimination program, where they all fight for a better quality of life for their loved ones.

Norma is one of them and makes a living in sales. She has a modest shop where she works every day starting early in the morning. She comments that her business has allowed her to be able to support her loved ones and ensure that they don't experience any type of want. She is a hardworking person who fights for her loved ones, in order to give them everything that she wasn't able to have and to avoid having them pass through times of need.

She is requesting this loan to buy various products for her store, such as vegetables, meat, bread products, fruit, and other additional products in order to continue with her sales as she has been.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid congregating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
