Malike's story

Malike sends her regards from the village of Tendik. She thanks Kiva funders for the financial assistance she received to increase her livestock headcount. She will be grateful if she is granted another loan and promises to repay it well. She has 6 cows, 15 sheep, and 0.61 ha of irrigated land where she grows alfalfa.

She is requesting another loan totaling 100,000 som (KGS) to buy more cows to fatten and sell. Malike is a 62-year-old, hardworking woman with four grown children. She works in agriculture and is focused on increasing her livestock headcount, as her primary business activity. She began this business in 1995 to increase her family's income. She intends to grow her business and save up to buy livestock.
