Nelly's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay school fees for her children.

Nelly's story

Nelly lives in the Eldoret area of Kenya, a town where the main economic activities include agricultural processing, particularly in horticulture and pineapple. She is 42 years old and has three children. Nelly practices dairy and mixed farming on her farm. With her profits, she is able to send all of her children to school.

After a long period of closure in Kenya due to COVID-19, schools have been officially reopened. It is for this reason that she is seeking a loan to pay school fees for her children. With this loan, her children will learn comfortably and not be sent home because of a lack of tuition fees. Nelly wants her children to have a bright future, and this loan will enable her to achieve that.
