Twegerane Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped will use her portion of the loan to buy tomatoes, carrots and green peppers.

Twegerane Cb Group's story

Liberatha is a 60-year-old mother of three children aged between 26 and 30 years. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past thirty two years, she has been selling vegetables.

She is the leader of the Twegerane Cb, which means “come together” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Liberatha will use her portion of the loan to buy tomatoes, carrots and green peppers to sell within her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to set aside some savings and expand her business. She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
