Komera Cb A Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sweet potatoes, plantains, and Irish potatoes.

Komera Cb A Group's story

Denyse is a 42-year-old widowed mother of five children aged between 14 and 26 years old. For the past seven years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

She is the leader of the KOMERA CB A, which means “Being Strong” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Denyse will use her portion of the loan to buy sweet potatoes, plantains, and Irish potatoes to sell within her community. With the profit from her sales, she hopes to be able to furnish her house.

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
