but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cooking oil, rice, sugar and maize flour.

Inganzabunebwe Cb Group's story

Fortunee is a 51-year-old widowed mother of two children aged between 23 and 25 years old. For the past 25 years, she has owned a grocery store.

She is the leader of the Inganzabunebwe Cb Group, which means “Fighting against Laziness” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Fortunee will use her portion of the loan to buy Cooking oil, Rice, Sugar and Maize flour to sell in her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to provide school fees to her children.

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

"Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group".
