Asucena Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy corn, coffee, pork, seasoning, firewood, etc.

Asucena Group's story

Alodia is 50 years old. She is single and has one daughter. She makes and sells tortillas and Nicaraguan tamales, she sells ground coffee, and buys and sells firewood. She says that with the previous loan she was able to buy corn, flour, coffee beans, and firewood. Thanks to that loan, her income increased which allowed her to cover some household expenses, strengthen her business, and invest in cosmetics to sell by catalog.

She is requesting a new Kiva loan through Fundenuse to buy raw materials to meet her customers' demands and earn good profits. Alodia belongs to the solidarity group “Asucena” together with Kenia (who makes corn tortillas and Nicaraguan tamales and sells ground coffee and firewood), Diana (who sells clothes and shoes), and Gloria (who makes corn tortillas and Nicaraguan tamales and sells ground coffee and firewood).
