Abejitas Divinas Ym Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy construction materials.

Abejitas Divinas Ym Group's story

Ronal Ruben began working very young, at age 15, as a street vendor of ice cream all over the city. He traveled across areas near the main plaza in order to help support his family. Because of his parents' health problems, he was the only one who could support the family.

Later, he was in a relationship and had one son, but unfortunately the mother abandoned the family and left him responsible for the child. The person who helped him and taught him how to do construction work was his younger brother, who is now 25 and had no choice but to learn how to make it on his own—and even more so now because of the pandemic. But thanks to God, he now has work in construction.

Ronal Ruben is seeking this loan in order to add more tools that he needs in his work, with the goal of continuing to work and getting more contracts in order to give his son better things.

In the photo, there are only three people because of social distancing requirements of the pandemic. On the left wearing a black jacket and pants is Berna Eliana, who is the president. In the middle wearing a black jacket is Ronal Ruben, who is the group leader. On the right wearing a striped sweater is Maribel, who is the treasurer.
