Turumwe Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy alcoholic spirits and wines with her portion of the loan.

Turumwe Cb Group's story

Francoise is a 39-year-old mother of five children between 3 and 17 years old. Her husband is a businessman, and for the past 18 years, she has owned a liquor store.

She is the leader of the Turumwe Cb Group, which means “We are One” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Francoise will use her portion of the loan to buy alcoholic spirits and wines to sell within her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to set aside some savings and expand her business.

She is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
