Mujeres Activas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase meat, chicken, ham, cheese, eggs, and other products.

Mujeres Activas Group's story

This committee is called Mujeres Activas [Active Women] since that is what they are: women who actively work for their goals and objectives. Today they are in their 5th cycle of the program of the women's committee, where they all put in the best of themselves to overcome and improve their quality of life.

One of these is Karina, who works selling food she herself makes. She says that her beginnings were modest, and she has grown and improved until she obtained the established clientele she has today. She says that her work helps her husband with the expenses of the home and raising of their children, who are the main motivation for her efforts.

She is requesting this loan to purchase basic supplies to make her dishes, like meat, chicken, ham, cheese, eggs, and other products. She is grateful for this opportunity of being able to continue with her work and invest in it.

Note: This photograph features one person but it is a group loan; a group photo wasn't possible because of the need to prevent groups of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
