A loan helped to buy 30 bags of néré seed to make soumbala and save money to take care of her children.
Louise Fati's story
Louise Fati is the mother of 7 children, 4 of whom go to school. She is active in the retail trade and has been preparing and selling soumbala in a local market for 30 years. She is in her seventh loan cycle with MFI YIKRI and she has repaid her second Kiva loan without difficulty. She is again applying for a loan to buy 30 bags of néré seed to prepare soumbala to resell with her dealers. It will be useful to source sufficient quantity to satisfy her customers. She plans to use the profit to reinvest in her business and save to take care of her children. Finally, she thanks YIKRI and its partners for the support given to non-cash-convertable entrepreneurs. Thanks to loans from YIKRI, she is able to save money to take care of her family. She invites everyone to protect themselves from the Covid-19 virus.
