A loan helped to build a safe latrine at home.

Rorn's story

Rorn is a humble villager who lives in Prey Kabbas District, Takeo Province, with his spouse and children. He is an industrious man who works by the sweat from his brow to earn a livelihood. His primary business focuses on blacksmithing and planting agriculture products to earn profits. The income he earns is used to cover his daily expenses and his children’s education and allowances.

Rorn and his spouse want to be more successful in their family’s agricultural business so that they can earn a good income to provide for family daily needs. However, Rorn still uses traditional methods in his farming. He takes a photograph with his spouse in front of their house.

Currently, his house doesn't have a safe latrine, so he cannot provide a sanitary latrine to his family members. He is requesting a loan to build a safe latrine at home. In this way he hopes to increase the value of his home and improve sanitation, ensuring healthy living conditions to safeguard the health of his family and protect the environment.

With the support of this loan, he will be able to purchase construction supplies such as bricks and cement to build a safe latrine and pay for labor costs. He believes that through his hard work and perseverance, he will be able to attain a better standard of living someday.
