A loan helped to buy bags of beans.

Busara Ii Group's story

Madame Aimerance is a client of microfinance institution Hekima and heads the Busari Ii Group. She is 46 years old and has 7 children who are all in school. Her partner is a teacher. Only the group leader is shown due to social distancing measures.

Aimerance sells food items, a business she started in 2005 with startup funds from her husband. Later, she partnered with Hekima to support her business, and it has grown progressively since. With this new loan, she will purchase bags of beans, which will increase her working capital. Her business's main challenge is lack of customers.

She would like for her children to continue their studies and to feed her family. Lastly, Aimerance would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they give to owners of non-bankable businesses in the context of the Covid-19 crisis.
